Please read and follow the instructions carefully.

Downloading the update file

1. Select the link,2010 RUG CMI Update found below. You will be downloading an executable program file (RUG_2010_CMI_Update.exe) containing the update utility.

2. From the file download dialog box, you will be asked whether you "Would like to open/run the file from the web site or save it to your computer?" (Question will vary depending on your browser version.)

3. Select "Save." When prompted where to save the file, select the location for your \Accu-Care directory (usually C:\Accu-Care OR C:\Program Files\Accu-Med\Accu-Care). Press the appropriate button to continue the download and save process.

Installation and running the update file

1. From the workstation where you saved the file (this computer must have access to the Accu-Care for Windows software and production database).
2. Locate the file RUG_2010_CMI_Update.exe in the (folder of step 3 in "Downloading the Update") using Windows Explorer.
3. Double click on this executable file to run it.
4. You will see information briefly displayed on the screen and then the update will be complete.
5. Follow the instructions to change your RUGs calculator settings in Accu-Care to use the new settings.
