Accu-Count DOS Financial Program -- 12.2.0 UB-04 Update

Please read and follow the instructions carefully.

Note: This update must be run from a computer that has access to the Accu-Count DOS program files. Getting Ready

Designate one associate who will be responsible for the entire Update installation. This will help insure continuity and flow throughout the entrie Update process. This person should be familiar with the location of all Accu-Med programs.

In order to install this Update, all users, with the exception of the designated install associate, must be signed completely out of the Accu-Count DOS program.

Verify the latest software version is currently installed on the system, Version 12.0.0.

Confirm the version code in the lower right-hand corner of the Accu-Count Main Menu screen reads "Vsn 12.0.0.138." If it does not read Vsn 12.0.0.138 call Accu-Med Technical Support - DO NOT CONTINUE!

Reset the Read-Only file protection on the UB.EXE program.

From the command prompt, change directories to the directory where Accu-Count exists, e.g. CD \AMCOUNT [Enter].

At the AMCOUNT command prompt, type ATTRIB -R UB.EXE [ENTER].

Installing the update

Accu-Med.com Web Install - Access AMC_12_2_0.EXE

Open your workstation's Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and enter WWW.ACCU-MED.COM in the address box and press [ENTER]. After loading of the Accu-med.com main web page click on the Updates link from the menu list. Click on the Accu-Count Financial Updates link. Next click the Accu-Count UB-04 12.2.0 Update link and follow the on screen directions. At the File Download, click Run to continue the download and installation process.

Welcome Message

After reading the welcome message and you are ready to complete the installation process, click OK. The following Installation screen will be displayed.

Installation Message

When prompted where to unzip the files, select the Accu-Count DOS system folder, which is usually F:\Amcount. This folder may be different for your installation.

Click Unzip button to open the update files and replace your UB-04 application file. After the Unzip process completes, click the OK button on the WinZip Self-Extractor status dialog if no errors are detected. The preceding screen will become active again. Click Close button to exit the update process.
