2010 ICD-9 Library Update (Click Here)

The 2010 ICD-9 Library update for the Department of Veterans Affairs Accu-Care Clinical software is now available.

The timing of the ICD-9 update is extremely important. The file and update instructions are available to download now. The new codes became effective October 1, 2009. The update will add new codes, modify existing codes and flag the invalid codes as header records (invalid transmission codes) which cannot be used at the Resident level. As a result of these changes, our recommendation is to coordinate running the update as close to October 1st as possible.
